Johan and Nima stepped out of the exam room mentally and physically exhausted from hours of sharp concentration. “There must be a way to make the exam process less frustrating - it makes no sense to write by hand when everything else we do is digital. DigiExam was born. Johan and Nima set out to help students perform better by giving them the opportunity to complete exams digitally. Their own school was the first to endorse the company. It didn’t take long before they realized the potential of the product, and soon, several other schools did as well.
With the help of Stockholm School of Economics and the Foundation Viktor Rydberg High Schools, the product underwent years of technical testing and improvements in order to meet teachers needs. In the summer of 2014, DigiExam finally launched its first product to the market.
The first U.S. office opened in New York City, a vision and a dream had come true. The prestigious Hewitt School and Columbia University quickly saw the potential in the platform.
After starting with just two pilot schools, DigiExam spreads to over 800 schools and universities in only two years. DigiExam is used for the Swedish national exams for the second year, with 16% of all high school students using DigiExam. In 2017, that number grows to 33%.
Today, DigiExam is used by more than 2,700 organizations in over 90 countries. Constantly collaborating with their users and working to improve the product, DigiExam knows their work here is far from done. Hundreds of thousands of exams have now been completed, but we're just getting started...
